ProjectU™ is a not for profit project by Untouched World™.
ProjectU™ tees are made in Kolkata, India, by women who were once marginalised and trapped by poverty and prostitution. Every ProjectU™ tee purchase, helps give these women the support they need to take the next step towards freedom, while also supporting the Untouched World™ Charitable Trust. All profits from sales of ProjectU™ tees goes to the Untouched World™ Charitable Trust, which delivers ground breaking Leadership for Sustainable Future programmes for young adults.
Here’s what some of the Untouched World™ Charitable Trust alumni have to say…
‘The skills, knowledge and actions I have learnt this week will be with me for the rest of my life.’ – Jess Single, Blumine Island.
‘I have learnt that we should only take what we need and no more, and leave as little footprint as possible.’– Rachel Poulsen, Blumine Island.
‘I now see things differently. We need to protect and nurture the land for the future generations to share, live in and love.’ – Jake Duval-Smith, Waterwise
As of 2016, UWCT will be offering a seed fund for a winning Champion Alumni Project. This “Project U” programme will take place within the calendar year post the alumni dinner, in and with a community of origin, of the winning UWCT alumni champion student. In the spirit of all our work, the “Project U’ programme will build on our seed fund with partner resource from that community.
