A new opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Store Manager to join our amazing Flagship store in Burnside Christchurch. This is your chance to support and mentor a close-knit team, while representing a leading brand in the sustainable fashion sector. This role is in our Head Office and gives exposure to the full product development cycle.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of the store and sales team, assisting in leading your team to sales success and taking the reins in the Store Managers absence. This role will be roughly 24.5 hours per week, Wednesdays and Thursdays 10am – 4:15pm, Fridays 10am – 4:30pm, Saturdays 9am – 4:30pm.

This will include:

  • Working collaboratively alongside the Store manager to drive sales success and foster a positive work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by forming genuine connections with repeat customers, offering a high-end styling service and comprehensive product knowledge.
    Assist with all stock management, administrative duties, and any staffing management support required
  • Drive in store operational excellence with a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude.
    Maintain a high level of visual merchandising and housekeeping standards in-store.

The ideal candidate will;

Have previous management experience in a retail / customer service environment - This is essential.
