The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded Store Manager to lead our Christchurch flagship store and create an exceptional experience for customers and the retail team.

Based at our Burnside hub alongside Head Office, our workrooms and the award-winning Untouched World Kitchen, this role offers close connection to the people, craftsmanship and ideas behind the brand.

Location: Burnside, Christchurch

What you’ll do

• Take ownership of the store’s day-to-day performance and bring the Untouched World story to life through confident leadership, commercial focus and exceptional client service.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Drive sales targets, achieve KPIs and strengthen store profitability.
• Deliver a VIP client experience through one-on-one styling and personalised service, supported by comprehensive brand and product knowledge.
• Build and maintain genuine relationships with new and existing clients to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
• Maintain exceptional store presentation and work closely with the Visual Merchandiser to create an inspiring, beautifully styled space.
• Ensure operational excellence across stock management, daily administration, budgets, rostering and staffing, while collaborating with Head Office teams and providing valuable feedback on product ranges.

About you

You are a hands-on retail leader with commercial confidence, a genuine love of people and product, and strong alignment with our sustainability ethos.

• Proven retail management experience, ideally in premium fashion, lifestyle or high-value retail.
• A track record of developing teams, achieving sales targets and managing profitability.
• Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills.
• A strong eye for visual merchandising and confidence with retail systems, including POS.
• Initiative, sound judgement and enthusiasm for sustainable fashion.
