We’d worked with Lou on multiple occasions previously, enjoying shared values around finding meaning and comfort in our wardrobes. Lou has always believed that style is more about knowing who you are, rather something fleeting and seasonal, we couldn’t agree more.
From this shared philosophy, a collaboration felt like a natural next step. With Lou’s knowledge of what women were often missing in their wardrobes, and our foundations of creating and designing for life rather than seasons, we knew we could create something special together.
The result is a curated selection of pieces that don’t sit in one part of your life, but are with you through all of it. From slow mornings to evenings out, from the city to the coast, from structure to ease.
Three pieces. Each one purposeful. Each one filling a space we couldn’t find in the market. Not just beautiful, but wearable. Not just soft, but elevated. We’re so excited to share them with you.
Lou’s Perspective
I wanted to design pieces that women instinctively reach for.
The kind you can throw on without overthinking, yet still feel entirely put together. Pieces that hold an ease of glamour, never forced, never overstated.
There is a nurturing quality to knitwear when it’s done well. My upbringing was filled with memories of my own Mum knitting for us, it’s still one of the ways she shows her love. This collection is an ode to her.
Luxe, but never precious. Comfortable, but never casual. Nourishing in both how it feels and how it allows you to show up.
Each design considers versatility at its core. These are not one moment garments. They are pieces that evolve depending on how you wear them, styled back, layered, refined, or undone.
Because true wardrobe longevity comes from possibility.
Dreamingly Soft
The beautiful Mohair Silk chosen for this collection is spun in Italy by knitwear yarn specialist Manifattura Sesia. They pride themselves on working to the highest environmental and social standards. The Mohair itself is RMS certified, ensuring the welfare of the goats and the land they graze on.
This yarn is then knitted into the garments in our Christchurch workrooms, where we weave in the love and care that carries the pieces through a lifetime of wear.

Launch Event
Join Untouched World and stylist Lou Heller for an intimate evening celebrating the launch of Lou’s debut knitwear collection. This is your exclusive opportunity to purchase from the collection before anyone else.
Hosted at Volvo Cars Christchurch, the evening offers a closer look at the collection and the thinking behind it. Lou will share her approach to styling the pieces across a modern wardrobe, while Untouched World’s Head Designer, Moira Te Whata, will speak to the design process, from fibre selection to how each piece is designed and brought together.
