Our Materials

Mountainsilk™

Mountainsilk™ is our renowned fine machine-washable Merino. It's created with meticulous attention to detail in all technical aspects of its production.

Crafted from 18.9 micron merino fibres and worsted spun for a smooth, long-staple construction, Mountainsilk™ delivers performance you can feel. At 195gsm, it sits in the sweet spot between warmth and breathability. The natural properties of fine merino mean it actively regulates body temperature, resists odour-causing bacteria, and offers inherent UV protection. It won't itch, it won't pill, and it holds its shape wash after wash.

One fabric. Built for travel, everyday wear, and everything in between.

Regenerative Farming

We work with fibre suppliers who give back more than they take. Regenerative farming takes a whole-systems approach to land stewardship, building healthy soil to boost biodiversity and productivity over time, while ensuring animals live a genuinely good life. Less extracting, more restoring.

Animal Welfare

Being sentient means the animals that provide our fibres experience a range of feelings that matter to their well-being, both daily and over their lifetime. Untouched World is fully committed to sourcing from producers who prioritise the highest standards of animal welfare.

We see our role as partners and consumers as setting a higher standard for the industry, going beyond minimum legal requirements to ensure our animals truly have ‘A Good Life.’
