Pink with a Purpose

These pieces are rubbish, but they do a whole lot of good!

After taking home the Mindful Fashion Circular Design Award last year for our Rubbish Socks, we wanted to see how could extend the good they’re doing even further. With Aotearoa having one of the highest incidence rates of breast cancer in the world, it felt like the right place to start. We began collecting offcuts from our pink knitting and, along with a few sneaky red bits, we soon had the recipe for our pink jumble colourway!

Our friends at Breast Cancer Cure (BCC) embraced the collection wholeheartedly. Not only are these pieces made from waste in a fully circular process, but 10% of all sales go directly to BCC.

They might be Rubbish, but they really are doing a whole lot of good.
